Rema’s 'RAVAGE EP' is projected to debut at No. 1, with Blaqbonez's 'Emeka Must Shine,' Mohbad’s 'Blessed,' and ODUMODUBLVCK’s 'EZIOKWU' competing to be No. 2 on next Week’s Official Albums Chart in Nigeria.

Last Friday, 27th October was one of the most exciting days for music lovers in Nigeria music in 2023, as five new tapes were released by heavyweight musicians. As expected, all of these releases were impressive offerings. The tapes that dropped on this day were Rema's 'RAVAGE EP', Basketmouth's 'Uburu', Reminisce's Alaye 'Toh Se Gogo Vol. 1', Blaqbonez’s 'Emeka Must Shine', and 'Mr Eazi's The Evil Genius'.

The release of these albums will definitely bring interesting movements on the Official Top Albums Chart. With four days of tracking, Rema’s 'RAVAGE EP' is projected to debut at No. 1 on the albums chart. This is because Rema currently leads on all platforms, both freemium (Audiomack and Boomplay), and paid (Spotify and Apple Music). The EP is projected to amass 9 million on-demand streams, equivalent to 6000 album units, putting it in prime position for the No. 1 spot.

Another new release that is gathering momentum is Blaqbonez’s 'Emeka Must Shine.' The rap album is projected to amass 7 million on-demand streams which is equivalent to 4700 album units. As such, Emeka Must Shine is competing with current No. 1 album, ODUMODUBLVCK's 'EZIOKWU' and Mohbad’s 'Blessed', making it a three-way battle for the No. 2 spot.

Next week's Official Top 50 Albums Chart will be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 7
