Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Fido’s “Joy is Coming” tallied 6.88 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 44.9 million in radio reach (No. 12 on radio). It becomes Fido’s first career No. 1 single – surpassing the No. 3 peak of “Awolowo” in the process. 2024 being a leap year has resulted in the 2024 chart year having an extra chart week (December 27 – January 2, 2025). As a result, Fido earns the honor of having the last No. 1 single of 2024.

Davido’s “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK & Chike drops 1-2 after topping the chart for three consecutive weeks. It was earlier announced today that it takes the honor of the No. 1 song in December, 2024; having topped the cumulative holiday-themed ranking ‘Detty December 2024’ chart. It joins Shallipopi’s “Cast” with ODUMODUBLVCK (2023) and Ruger’s “Asiwaju” (2022) as the songs to earn the title since the launch of the holiday chart.

Wizkid’s “Kese (Dance)” holds at No. 3 for another week while Burna Boy’s “Bundle By Bundle” tumbles 2-4. It has peaked at No. 2 so far on the chart.

Ruger & Tiwa Savage’s “Toma Toma” rebounds 6-5 – the song peaked at No. 2 on the Top 100.

Fola’s “who does that?” with Bella Shmurda drops 4-6 while Davido’s former No. 1 “Awuke” with YG Marley is steady at No. 7 for a second week.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; No. 8 – 10 on the chart remains unchanged from last week with Wizkid’s “Bad Girl” featuring Asake at No. 8, Young Jonn’s “Ten Times” at No. 9 and Blaqbonez’s “Louder (Remix)” with Ayo Maff & Bella Shmurda at No. 10.
