Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Fido’s “Joy is Coming” tallied 8.37 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 99.9 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio).

One of the Most Dominant No. 1 Singles Ever

“Joy Is Coming” joins an elite group of No. 1 singles that have tallied at least two times the chart points of the number two song; this week, “Joy Is Coming” has over 3x the total chart points of the next song, Davido’s “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK & Chike.

In addition, it records the biggest total chart points by a single in over two years and one of the biggest singles in a week ever.  “Joy Is Coming” has spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100

Davido’s “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK & Chike stays at No. 2 for another week while Wizkid’s “Kese (Dance)” is steady at No. 3.
