SSSoundGawd’s Debut EP ‘The Worst’: Everything We Know So Far

Tagline: Pray for the best, but prepare for the worst.

2026 has pushed SSSoundGawd further into the spotlight, but calling him a DJ alone no longer tells the full story. His appearances on Mavo’s “Aurasalad” and “BB Lifestyle” have put more eyes on him, while his work as a rapper and producer has begun filling out the picture of what he can do beyond the decks.

Now signed to Kilogbede Records, SSSoundGawd is preparing The Worst, his first lead project and a chance for listeners to hear more of that side of him.

The title fits with an artiste who has already shown a taste for bold names. His single “SWAGGA” made a direct statement about where he believes he is headed, while records including “WOE$KII,” “BB Lifestyle,” “MAMACITA” and “Jollof Rice” have continued to expand his discography.

There is still plenty to discover about the EP, but its arrival should give us a clearer sense of SSSoundGawd as a lead artiste: the sounds he gravitates towards, the kind of records he wants to make and whether the instincts that have worked in his singles and collaborations can stretch across a full body of work.

For an artiste who has spent much of the year making his name known, The Worst might finally give us the clearest picture yet.
