Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
BNXN Scores Fifth No. 1 Song in Nigeria
BNXN’s “Fi Kan We Kan” with Rema tallied 90.7 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio) and 1.91 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) as it rises to the top of this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100. As a result, it becomes BNXN’s fifth No. 1 entry on the official singles chart; joining– “Feeling,” “Finesse,” “GWAGWALADA” and “POE.”
In addition, Rema earns his fourth No. 1 song in the country and second of the year. He previously topped the singles chart with “Won Da Mo,” “Charm” and “BENIN BOYS.”
Wizkid’s “Piece of My Heart” with Brent Faiyaz drops to No. 2 in its second week on the chart.
Kizz Daniel’s former No. 1 “Marhaba” is steady at No. 3 for another week while another former No. 1 in Smur Lee & ODUMODUBLVCK’s “JUJU” with Shallipopi holds at No. 4.
Asake’s “MMS” with Wizkid rebounds 6-5 after topping the chart for three weeks.
Interesting Fact:
All the songs in the top five positions of this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 have reached the No. 1 spot. They have combined to top the chart for the last eleven weeks (including this week).
Fola’s “Alone” with BNXN drops 5-6 on this week’s Top 100 – it leads the official streaming chart for another week with 2.14 million on-demand streams.
Morravey’s “Ifineme”: flies into this week’s top ten at No. 7 after tallying 73 million in radio reach (No. 5 on radio) and 339,000 on-demand streams (no. 75 on streaming).
It is Morravey’s second top ten single in Nigeria– after previously reaching the region with “IN THE GARDEN” at No. 10 in 2023.
Darkoo’s “Favourite Girl” with Rema climbs 9-8 after peaking at No. 3 on the chart while Tiwa Savage’s “Forgiveness” dips 8-9 in its second week on the chart.
Rounding out this week’s top ten at No. 10 is Fido’s breakout hit “Awolowo.” The song is expected to rise on next week’s chart following the release of its remix with Tiwa Savage.

- Tariq scores his first top 20 entry with “Bus Stop (Remix)” featuring Young Jonn at No. 16.
