KOHDEE (Ogechukwu Otu) is a fast-rising musician in the Afro-pop scene with his infectious sound and multi-talented artistry. This 27-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer has earned a spot among music’s “certified lover boys” with his flair for blending soulful romance with afro-pop beats. Inspired by his mother, a gospel artiste, KOHDEE’s love for music began at a young age. Despite an unfortunate setback from a major car accident, his passion never stopped. He made a strong comeback in 2020, releasing back-to-back singles and his first EP, ‘The Link’ featuring 1da Banton. Tracks like “Mexebu” featuring The Cavemen, “Go Well” ft. Tekno, and “Mr. Fantastic” quickly earned him fame. Now part of the Troniq record label, he’s collaborated with other brilliant talents like Oxlade, Nelly Baradi, and Kemuel on the track, “Dirty”.

On October 25, 2024, KOHDEE dropped his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Sweet Karma’. This 8-track project, featuring Tekno on a bonus track “Go Well”, is a journey through love, resilience, and self-discovery. The album opens with “Familiar”,  a track rooted in independence and self-love, reflecting KOHDEE’s will to strive through life’s challenges. The soothing “Healer” is a balm to the soul, while “Euphoria” streams in with sweet, romantic energy. “Zaza” is hypnotic, with undertone beats that linger in the listener’s mind. “No Consider” continues the romantic thread with KOHDEE’s smooth delivery. The reflective “1 Day” is a message of optimism and hope. Closing with fan favourites, “Mr. Fantastic” and “Go Well”, KOHDEE’s collaboration with Tekno provides a rhythmic finish.
