Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Lonely At The Top” tallied 6.7 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 64.6 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, it sets a new record for the biggest total acitivity for a song in a week in 2023; surpassing its own record from last week.

Additionally, it becomes the first 2023 song to reach No. 1 on every chart in Nigeria and the ninth song overall. “Lonely At The Top” joins Davido’s “FEM,” Omah Lay’s “Godly,” Kizz Daniel’s “Lie,” Joeboy’s “Sip (Alcohol),” Kizz Daniel’s “Buga (Lo Lo Lo),” Fireboy DML’s “Bandana,”  Kizz Daniel’s “Cough” and Ruger’s “Asiwaju.”

It is also the first non-Pop single to achieve the feat; the song is classified under the Traditional genre.

The rest of the top four remains unchanged from last week; Omah Lay’s “Reason” at No. 2, Seyi Vibez’s “Man of the Year” at No. 3 and Asake’s “Basquiat” at No. 4.

Shallipopi ranks at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively; “Ex Convict” rises to a new peak and “Obapluto” jumps 39 places into the top ten.

King Promise’s “King Promise” enters into a new peak of No. 7 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100. It tallied 1.14 million on-demand streams (No. 14 on streaming) and 52.3 million in radio reach (No. 5 on radio).

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Davido’s “FEEL” dips to No. 8 after peaking at No. 3 on the chart. It is the longest charting single off ‘Timeless’ in the top ten. Kcee’s “Ojapiano” falls 5-9 after topping the chart for a week while Rema’s former three-week No. 1 “Charm” slips 6-10.

Just outside the top ten; Blaqbonez’s “Like Ice Spice” reaches a new peak of No. 13 while Adekunle Gold’s “Ogaranya” debuts at No. 19.
