Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
“Gwagwalada” tallied 3.55 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 46 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio).
Omah Lay’s “soso” returns to its No. 2 peak as it moves to No. 1 on radio – 46.8 million in radio reach and 2.30 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming).
Ayra Starr’s “Sability” slips 2-3 after debuting at No. 1 two weeks ag while Rema’s “Holiday” retreats 3-4 on the Nigeria Top 100. Interestingly, it is the most-streamed song on premium streaming platforms during the tracking week; having finished at No. 1 on both Apple Music and Spotify. However, it ranks at No. 3 on the overall streaming chart with 2.36 on-demand streams; it also tallied 42.6 million in radio reach (No. 5 on radio).
Ruger’s “Asiwaju” holds at its No. 5 for another week; it topped the chart for seven consecutive weeks between December 2022 and January 2023. Asake’s “Yoga” is steady at No. 6 for another week.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Khaid’s “Jolie” moves 7-6, Rexxie’s “Abracadabra” with Naira Marley, Skiibii and Wizkid dips 7-8.
Kizz Daniel’s “RTID (Rich Till I Die)” rebounds 11-9 while Spyro’s “Who is Your Guy?” keeps at No. 10 for another week; it has peaked at No. 6 so far on the Top 100. The song is expected to move higher on next week’s chart following the arrival of its remix with Tiwa Savage.
Just outside the top ten; Young Jonn’s “Currency” with Olamide returns to its No. 11 peak while Lojay’s “MOTO” moves to a new peak of No. 21 – it is expected to enter the top 20 on next week’s chart following the arrival of ‘Gangster Romantic EP.’
