Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
“Yoga” tallied 3.20 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming for a second week) and 59.4 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio). The song spends a second week atop the Top 100, joining “Terminator” and “PBUY” as Asake’s longest solo No. 1 songs in the country (“Bandana” spent seven weeks at No. 1 in 2022)
Additionally, Asake has spent a total of 16 weeks with a No. 1 song in Nigeria (across a record seven No. 1 entries) – only Omah Lay and Kizz Daniel have spent more weeks at No. 1 with 18 weeks each.
Omah Lay’s “soso” returns to its No. 2 peak on the Official Nigeria Top 100; the song tallied 2.68 million streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 58.7 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio). The song is challenging for No. 1 on next week’s chart (also faces competition from Ayra Starr’s “Sability”)
Ruger’s “Asiwaju” dips 2-3 on the Top 100 after logging seven weeks atop the chart during the period of December 2022 – January 2023.
Kizz Daniel’s “RTID” holds at No. 4 after debuting and peaking at No. 2 on the chart.
Boy Spyce’s “Folake” ascends to a new peak of No. 5 on the Top 100 – it drew 1.95 million streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 46.1 million in radio reach (No. 8 on radio).
Spyro’s “Who Is Your Guy?” jumps from No. 18 to No. 6 on this week’s top ten. The song tallied 46.6 million in radio reach (No. 6 on radio) and 1.73 million on-demand streams (No. 7 on streaming).
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Rexxie’s “Abracadabra” with Naira Marley & Skiibii slides 6-7, Zinoleesky’s “Personal” falls 5-8 while Khaid’s “Jolie”is steady at its No. 9 high and Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool” dips 6-10.
Just outside the top ten; Zlatan’s “Let There Be Light” with Seyi Vibez launches at No. 12 while Wande Coal’s “Kpe Paso” with Olamide debuts at No. 13 and Dj Neptune’s “Bienvenue” with Ruger starts at No. 18.
Other debuts on the chart include Blaqbonez’s “Breaking the Yoke of Love” with Chike & Raybekah debuts at No. 45 and Lojay’s “MOTO” makes its chart debut at No. 58.
