TurnTable NXT Alum, Albertium, Shares New EP Titled Fairytale
To mark his 5th Anniversary in the music industry, Nigerian Singer and Songwriter Albertium releases a New EP titled “Fairytale”. This comes after his first sold out concert in Benin City, tagged “Albertium Live: The Fairytale Xperience” and the release of a mini-documentary titled “Road To The Fairytale Xperience”. The EP was produced by his friend and Producer Mastawil. In Fairytale, Albertium pours out his emotions talking about “a love that is so beautiful that it feels like I am in a fairytale”.
It begins with “Your Love” a melodious track where he confesses being spell bound by love. This led to “Hold You” an Afro-Caribbean track with a captivating choir hook. He described the effect of love on him with the words “...you stole my heart with your magic wand, without your love I’m a sinking ship...”.
The third track “They Can Never” sees a switch from the Afrobeats feel to a calmer Hip Hop interlude which features a rap verse from Mastawil. In “You Know” Albertium professes eternal love, with a calm soothing voice he sings “you know, I know, this our love is eternal....”
The EP ends with “Abeg” a gospel inspired Highlife song, where He offers a prayer to God for success in his career and also for his friends. He proclaims “This Year na my Year...[will] sell out shows around the world, all the fans will scream my name....”

Albertium is a Singer and Songwriter from Benin City, Nigeria. His sound is a blend of Pop, Rnb and Afrobeats. He was included on Boomplay’s “UP NEXT AFRICA” playlist and TurnTable Charts’ TurnTable NXT Class Of 2021. He dropped his Debut EP “The Alpocalypse” in 2019, The EP peaked at no 82 on Boomplay’s Top Weekly Albums Chart and the lead single “Medara” peaked at No. 3 and No. 1 on Boomplay’s “Daily Top Songs” and “Daily Top World Music” Charts respectively.
In February 2022, He sold out his first concert at Penthouse Event Center in Benin City.
