BIG OZED Releases New Two-Track Project, ‘Temporary Feelings’
Nigerian Afrobeats artiste BIG OZED returns with his new two-track project, ‘Temporary Feelings,’ a concise exploration of love, uncertainty, vulnerability and emotional detachment.
Released under A\&R Duty and distributed by DOB MUSIC, the project features “Another Pesin” and “Dey Play”, two records that present contrasting sides of BIG OZED’s emotional world.
The project is designed as a short film in audio, taking listeners through two different emotional states.
The focus track, “Another Pesin,” captures the paranoia and vulnerability that comes with questioning whether someone you care about may be emotionally involved with someone else. Built around melodic Afrobeats and conversational storytelling, BIG OZED turns the fear of being replaced into an intimate reflection on relationships and uncertainty.
The second track, “Dey Play,” shifts the energy completely. Playful, confident and slightly dismissive, the song represents the moment when BIG OZED decides to stop overthinking mixed signals and refuses to take emotional games too seriously.
Together, the songs create the central idea behind ‘Temporary Feelings’: two songs, two emotional states and two sides of BIG OZED.
“Another Pesin” asks the question: Who are you choosing?
“Dey Play” answers: I’m not taking this game seriously.
BIG OZED, an Afrobeats artiste from Edo State, has been active since 2019 and continues to build an identity around authenticity, individuality and ambition. His artistic philosophy is rooted in the idea of a simple guy from Edo with superstar ambitions, reflected in his Maverick approach to music and self-expression.
With ‘Temporary Feelings,’ BIG OZED keeps the project intentionally short while allowing each record to occupy its own emotional space. Rather than telling one long story, the project captures the changing nature of emotions within relationships—from suspicion and vulnerability to confidence and detachment.
