Blaqbonez & Asake’s “CHANEL” Spends a Fourth Week at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100, Shakira & Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” Gets a World Cup Boost to the Top Ten

Blaqbonez \& Asake’s “CHANEL” 2.73 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 79.0 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). It has now logged a fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100, becoming the longest running No. 1 single released under Chocolate City Music – passing the previous 3-week reign of Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool” in 2022.
Asake’s “Forgiveness” holds at No. 2 on the Top 100 after spending two weeks at No. 1. It has spent 7 weeks on the chart.
Young Jonn’s “Elumelu” lifts for a second straight week into a new peak of No. 3 after tallying 2.32 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and 70.4 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 4 on radio).
Asake’s former No. 1 “Gratitude” slips 3-4 while BNXN \& Sarz’s “Back Outside” is steady at No. 5, having topped the chart for a single week.
Asake’s “MCBH” rebounds 8-6 after reaching a peak of No. 4 while Shakira \& Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” reaches a new peak of No. 7 following the start of the FIFA 2026 World Cup. It tallied 552,000 on-demand streams (No. 49 on streaming) and 71.1 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio).
It is Shakira’s first top ten entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria – and the first top ten single by a Latin artiste in Nigeria since “Rotate” by Becky G, also featuring Burna Boy, in 2021.
Victony’s “Fre$h” enters a new peak of No. 8 in its third week with 1.05 million on-demand streams (No. 18 on streaming) and 49.93 million in radio reach (No. 8 on radio).
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Ayra Starr’s “Tornado” debuts at No. 9 with 1.004 million on-demand streams (No. 20 on streaming) and 47.3 million in radio reach (No. 13 on radio). It is Ayra Starr’s 21st top ten entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria. No other female artiste has more than 11.
Asake’s “Worship” with Dj Snake slips 6-10 after leading the chart for five weeks earlier this year.
Outside the Top Ten
- 6uff \& TUFF KING’s “Ripper’s Fate” ascends to a new peak of No. 19 in its first full week of tracking. It is the second top 20 entry for 6uff and the first for TUFF KING.
- Lojay \& Kunmie’s “Gorgeous” moves to a new peak of No. 27 in its third week.
