Blaqbonez & Asake’s “CHANEL” Logs a Second Week at No. 1 on the Nigeria Top 100, Young Jonn’s “Elumelu” Debuts at No. 5

Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Blaqbonez & Asake’s “CHANEL” tallied 4.57 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 86.4 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, it logs a second consecutive week atop the official singles chart in Nigeria. 

Asake’s former No. 1 “Gratitude” climbs 3-2 on this week’s chart while “Forgiveness” by Asake slips 2-3 after topping the Top 100 for two weeks. 

BNXN & Sarz’s “Back Outside” holds at No. 4 for another week – the song previously topped the Top 100 for a single week. 

Young Jonn’s “Elumelu” debuts at No. 5 on this week’s chart with 58.1 million in radio reach (No. 4 on radio) and 1.92 million on-demand streams (No. 8 on streaming). It is Young Jonn’s 18th top ten entry on the official singles chart in Nigeria. 

Asake & Dj Snake’s “Worship” drops 5-6 after spending five weeks at No. 1 on the Top 100. It has spent eleven weeks in the top ten of the official singles chart in Nigeria. 

Asake’s “MCBH” slips 6-7 while Kidd Carder & Mavo’s “Big Bum Bum” is steady at No. 8 for another week. “Big Bum Bum” has peaked at No. 2 on the Official Nigeria Top 100. 

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Omah Lay’s “I AM” holds at No. 9 after reaching a peak of No. 2 while Asake’s “Wa” is unchanged at No. 10 for another week. 

Outside the Top Ten

  • Magixx & FOLA’s “Juice & Liquor” is steady at No. 12 for a second week.
  • Wizkid & Asake’s “Jogodo” climbs 18-15 on this week’s chart. It has spent 20 weeks on the Top 100 including nine weeks at No. 1 – it is the biggest song of the year till date as well as the longest running No. 1 single of 2026.
  • Tiwa Savage’s “Energy” with Mavo & Wande Coal debuts at No. 17 on this week’s Nigeria Top 100.
