Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
Seyi Vibez’s “SHAOLIN” debuts at No. 1 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 with 6.80 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 63.9 million in radio reach (No. 10 on radio). As a result, it becomes Seyi Vibez’s third No. 1 single in Nigeria– and first as a lead artiste (or even solo artiste). He previously topped the chart with BNXN’s “GWAGWALADA” and Vibez Inc’s “Instagram.”
“SHAOLIN” is also the second song to debut at No. 1 in 2025– joining Rema’s “Baby (Is it a Crime)”; which means all new No. 1 songs in 2025 have been No. 1 debuts. (Fido’s “Joy Is Coming” also topped the chart for five weeks in 2025 but it doesn’t count as a new No. 1 as it logged a week at the summit of the Official Nigeria Top 100 last year)
ODUMODUBLVCK’s “PITY This BOY” with Victony holds at its No. 2 for a second consecutive week – it has spent three weeks on the Top 100. Rema’s “Baby (Is it a Crime)” dips 1-3 after topping the chart for two weeks.
Burna Boy’s “Update” ascends to a new peak of No. 4 in its second week on the chart after tallying 2.32 million on-demand streams (No. 10 on streaming) and 98.4 million in radio reach (No. 2 on radio).
Seyi Vibez’s new releases “HAPPY SONG” and “MARIO KART” debut at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively; “HAPPY SONG” with 4.67 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 14.3 million in radio reach (No. 68 on radio) while “MARIO KART” tallied 4.62 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 9.75 million in radio reach (No. 98 on radio).
Shallipopi’s “Laho” debuts at No. 7 on this week’s Top 100 with 3.20 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 54.6 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 14 on radio). It is important to note that “LAHO” was unavailable for streaming on Spotify for the first three days of tracking (the DSP which is now the biggest contributor to the Top 100) and isn’t available for streaming on Boomplay as with every Sony release.
Rounding out this week’s top ten; Fido’s “Joy Is Coming” drops 3-8, Teni’s “Money” falls 4-9 while Asake’s “WHY LOVE” drops 5-10.
