Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

Rema’s “Baby (Is it a Crime)” tallied 4.74 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 97.6 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). As a result, it becomes the first song released in 2025 to reach the summit of the official singles chart in Nigeria.

“Baby (Is it a Crime)” becomes Rema’s fifth No. 1 entry on the singles chart and second as a solo artiste. In addition, the artiste has recorded at least one No. 1 single in Nigeria in the last four calendar years; “Won Da Mo” in 2022, “Charm” in 2023, “BENIN BOYS” and “Fi Kan We Kan” in 2024 and “Baby (Is it a Crime)” in 2025.

Fido’s “Joy Is Coming” drops 1-2 after topping the chart for six consecutive weeks across the last week of 2024 and early 2025. The song drew 3.81 million on-demand streams (No. 3 on streaming) and 84.2 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 3 on radio).

ODUMODUBLVCK’s “PITY THIS BOY” with Victony launches at No. 3 on the Top 100 after tallying 4.17 million on-demand streams (No. 2 on streaming) and 50.8 million in radio reach (No. 8 on radio).

Teni’s “Money” dips 3-4 on this week’s chart while Fola’s “who does that?” with Bella Shmurda falls 2-5.

Davido’s “Funds” with ODUMODUBLVCK & Chike holds at No. 6 while Wizkid’s “Kese (Dance)” retreats 5-7.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Burna Boy’s “Bundle by Bundle” falls 4-8, Naira Marley’s “Pxy Drip” descends 7-9 while Black Sherif’s “So It Goes” with Fireboy DML lifts to a new peak of No. 10 – it tallied 36.2 million in radio reach (No. 22 on radio) and 991,000 on-demand streams (No. 16 on streaming).

It is Black Sherif’s first top ten entry as a lead artiste since 2022– joining “Kwaku The Traveller” which topped the official singles chart for five weeks in 2022.
