Releasing November 22nd via Exodus Records, South African rapper Nasty C and London-based Nigerian producer Lekaa Beats return with a surprise drop of their new EP Confuse The Enemy (Reloaded), featuring four brand new tracks with Tiwa Savage, Blxckie and Nanette.

It’s the second half of a major collaborative project celebrating all corners of African music on a global scale. Released in October, the first half of Confuse The Enemy, a five-track EP featuring UK rapper Chip, ODUMODUBLVCK, Daliwonga and Yumbs, ****reached #1 in South Africa across all genres and charted in six countries.

Confuse The Enemy (Reloaded) continues the sonic journey with four additional tracks, further expanding the creative boundaries explored in the first part. This segment delves deeper into the experimental aspects of Nasty and Lekaa’s collaboration, offering unexpected twists and layers that challenge conventional musical expectations.

A brand new track on the project, lead single ‘One Time’ blends afrobeats and hip-hop as Nigerian star Tiwa Savage’s emotive chorus meets sweeping violins. ‘Pies’, the sole collaboration between Lekaa and Nasty C, is a high-energy track with a jersey club twist, where reverb-drenched vocal shots meet Nasty’s fresh vocals over a danceable beat. ‘Assignment’ brings in a rolling amapiano rhythm, with South African rapper Blxckie’s signature melodic delivery on the chorus. Closing with ‘Use & Seduce’, rising South African singer Nanette delivers liquid-like vocals in a lush R&B arrangement, layered over floating strings for a slow, sweet finale.

Confuse The Enemy (Reloaded) drops on Friday, November 22nd. Bringing together some of the greatest names in afrobeats, amapiano, rap and beyond, and emerging global sounds, this whole project is an essential and refreshing listen.
