Kizz Daniel’s “Marhaba” Logs a Second Week Atop The Official Nigeria Top 100, Fido’s “Awolowo” Hits a New Peak of No. 4

Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Marhaba” Spends Another Week at No. 1 on the Top 100

Kizz Daniel’s “Marhaba” tallied 2.94 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 101 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 1 on radio). As a result, “Marhaba” becomes one of the rare songs to top both the streaming and radio charts in the same week in 2024. Kizz Daniel’s latest No. 1 single increased in activity on both streaming and radio from last week. 

Smur Lee & ODUMODUBLVCK’s “JUJU” with Shallipopi holds at No. 2 for another week after leading the Top 100 for four weeks. 

Asake’s “MMS with Wizkid is steady at No. 3 for a second straight week – the song topped the singles chart for three weeks. 

Fido’s “Awolowo” lifts to a new peak of No. 4 after drawing 2.28 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and 31.5 million in radio reach (No. 31 on radio). 

Darkoo’s “Favorite Girl” with Rema drops 4-5; it peaked at No. 3 in Nigeria. 

Omah Lay’s “Moving” slips 5-6 while Fola’s “Alone” with BNXN jumps 28-7 on this week’s chart. It is highest charting single for Fola (as well as being his first entry ever on the chart). 

Phyno & ArrDee’s “Time of My Life” hits a new peak of No. 8 on this week’s Top 100 following the arrival of Phyno’s fifth album ‘Full Time Job.’ The song tallied 865,000 on-demand streams (No. 24 on streaming) and 56.6 million in radio reach (No. 6 on radio). It is the second top ten entry off the album – joining “Do I (Remix)” with Burna Boy which peaked in the top ten last year. 

Rounding out this week’s top ten; Burna Boy’s “Higher” drops 8-9 while Asake & Travis Scott’s “Active” falls 6-10.
