There are melodies and there are the ones that strike the chord of nostalgia. And that's the feeling associated with streaming the creative musical work titled ‘Lost and Found’ packaged by Simi. In almost two decades of singing and producing, everyone has a special spot for Simi from the days of the single “Jamb Question”, and projects like ‘Simisola’ and the emotion-evoking ‘Omo Charlie Champagne Vol.1’.

The Nigerian-born talented musician, producer, and songwriter, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, popularly known as Simi released her first album ‘Ogaju’ in 2008. She rose to stardom with “Tiff” as far back as 2014. After a while, Simi returns with “Jamb Question”, making more statements with singles such as “Love Don’t Care”, “Smile For Me”, and “Complete Me”. Simi didn't relent as she continued to make her mark with projects like ‘Restless II’, ‘Simisola(Deluxe)’, ‘To Be Honest’, and the new ‘Lost and Found’.

As an award-winning prodigy, Simi has been nominated for several categories and won awards like The Headies 2016 Best Vocal Performance (Female), 2017 AFRIMA Awards Songwriter of the Year, etc. She has also served as part of the judging panel for the music talent show, Nigerian Idol Season 7 and 8.

Speaking about the ‘Lost and Found’ album, the intro, named after the album title once again seals Simi’s unforgettable signature. An energetic “Miracle Worker” with Lojay streams in after, followed by “Gimme Something”. Continuing with Simi and LADIPOE’s “Know You” from four years ago, the duo put together a better sequel titled “Know You II”. The artiste couples with Bella Shurmda on “Alafia” rendering a beautiful chorus in the unique Simi way. The list will be incomplete without the single featuring Asa, “Messiah” which speaks to the soul. Coming after is “All I Want”, the love anthem for the summer. “One of One” and “Romance Therapy” roll in with soft heart-tugging rhythm. The tenth song on the album, “Borrow Me Your Baby” highlighting want and passion, features the rapper Falz hopping on it with his striking rap lines. “Men Are Crazy” sang along with Tiwa Savage was released a few months ago, stirring different reactions amongst the listeners. The album morphs into a more solemn song about love, “RnB Luv” and a piece of spirited music “Woman To Woman”, filled with personal, motivating and significant messages to all women. Throwing back to the days of old, Simi teams up with the Juju music icon, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey to conclude the phenomenal album with “Jowo”.

Add ‘Lost and Found’ to your playlist to enjoy great music. Simi has proven time and time again that her music is nothing short of exceptional. Once again, listen to ‘Lost and Found’ today.
