Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria
“Lonely At The Top” is Still At The Top of the Charts
Asake’s latest No. 1 hit tallied 4.04 million on-demand streams (No. 1 on streaming) and 97 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio). The song has now spent six weeks at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100 - the longest for any single in 2023.
Additionally, it sets a new record for the biggest tally by any single on radio in a week with its 97 million surpassing the previous record of 93.2 million in radio airplay impressions by Kcee’s “Ojapiano.” It has logged five weeks at No. 1 on the radio chart in Nigeria.
Khaid’s “Anabella” is steady at its No. 2 peak on the Top 100 while Omah Lay’s “Reason” holds at No. 3 for another week. The song spent three weeks at No. 1 in 2023.
Burna Boy’s “Big 7” stays at No. 4 for another week on the Top 100.
Olamide’s “Jinja” rockets to a new peak of No. 5 on the Top 100. It drew 1.97 million on-demand streams (No. 5 on streaming) and 47.1 million in radio reach (No. 10 on radio).
It is Olamide’s 12th top ten entry in Nigeria and the second off ‘Unruly’ - joining “New Religion” featuring Asake which peaked at No. 2.
Adekunle Gold’s “Ogaranya” dips 5-6 on the Top 100 while Young Jonn’s “Sharpally” slips 6-7.
Blaqbonez’s “Like Ice Spice” rebounds 9-8 while King Promise’s “Terminator” decscends 8-9. Shallipopi’s “Obapluto” completes this week’s top ten.
