Chart rankings on the Official Nigeria Top 100 are based on a weighted formula incorporating audio and video streams within Nigeria, as well as airplay on radio and satellite TV in the country. It is the first and only standard music chart in Nigeria, providing comprehensive music activity including the official No. 1 song in Nigeria

“Lonely At The Top” tallied 5.17 million on-demand streams (fourth week at No. 1 on streaming) and 83.3 million in radio reach (No. 1 on radio for a third week). As a result, it logs a fourth week at No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100, equalling the 4-week reign of “2:30” as the longest charting No. 1 single off ‘Work of Art.’ It is also Asake’s longest charting No. 1 entry as a lead artiste.

A bit of history for Asake with "Lonely At The Top"; it is the most dominant single since Davido's "FEM" having led every streaming platform and radio for the last three weeks. Davido's "FEM" also achieved this feat in its first three weeks of release.

Burna Boy’s “Big 7” debuts at No. 2 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 off the back off of a massive debut on streaming and airplay. It tallied 2.33 million on-demand streams (No. 4 on streaming) and 60.3 million in radio reach (No. 3 on radio).

It is Burna Boy’s second top ten entry of 2023 as well as the second ahead of his seventh studio album ‘I Told Them.’ This is also Burna Boy’s 17th top ten entry on the singles chart in Nigeria.

Omah Lay’s former 3-week No. 1 slips to No. 3 while Khaid’s “Anabella” rises to a new high of No. 4 . It becomes  the Rookie of the Year nominee’s highest charting single in Nigeria.

Adekunle Gold’s “Ogaranya” ascends to a new peak of No. 5 on this week’s Official Nigeria Top 100 following the arrival of the artiste’s fifth studio album ‘Tequila Ever After.’

“Ogaranya” tallied 1.1 million on-demand streams (No. 16 on streaming) and 72.8 million in radio airplay impressions (No. 2 on radio).

This is the second top 10 entry off the album joining former No. 1 single “Party No Dey Stop” with Zinoleesky.

Seyi Vibez’s “Man of the Year” falls No. 6 after peaking at No. 3 on the chart while Asake’s “Basquiat” falls to No. 7 after reaching No. 2 on the Top 100.

Rounding out this week’s top ten; King Promise’s “Terminator” slides 6-8, Young Jonn’s “Sharpally” dips 5-9 and Blaqbonez’s “Like Ice Spice” descends to No. 10.
