Rema's "Woman"

Rema’s “Woman” has spent eight consecutive weeks in the top 3 of Top Airplay Chart; the closest song with such longevity in the upper echelons of the chart is Mayorkun’s “Betty Butter” with 5 weeks within top 3.

Woman

The song debuted at No. 8 on the chart dated July 13 and it has spent the following 8 weeks within the top 3 of the chart.

Here is a breakdown of chart positions of “Woman” on the chart

  1. No. 1 – 3 weeks

  3. No. 3 – 2 weeks
  4. No. 8 – 1 week

According to data from Radiomonitor, “Woman” is No. 20 on radio in Nigeria based on the number of spins across radio stations alone.

This is even more remarkable considering the song has only been released for 9 weeks – it is the one of the two songs with less than ten weeks of airplay in the top 50 of 2020; the other being Mayorkun’s “Betty Butter” featuring Davido at No. 28 (also 9 weeks of airplay).
